A Birthday Present...

My good friend in England turned 27 last month and I finally got around to finishing his birthday present today!

I made him a messenger bag, which I'm quite proud of as it has a zipper and adjustable strap. :)

I lined it with gray fabric, thanks to my good friend Beck, for her input! ;)

I hand embroidered the logo for his church Oasis Cornwall. You can check them out here. I also embroidered his name in the corner so no one else can use it. ;)

I'm going to ship it off tomorrow and then finish his brother's present! I'll share pictures of that when it's finished. :)

While We're Waiting...

We've listed our house for sale! Now we just have to wait and pray for it to sell before we can move. I'm actually enjoying this time we're here in Oregon even though I long to be in Cornwall. God's been teaching me to be content with the task in front of me...it's been awesome. :)
In my spare moments between the busy ones, I've been trying to finish up some old projects.
I'm also working on a couple birthday presents, which I'll post pictures of when they're finished!
So all in all, I'm quite happy to be where God has me in this moment.

Life is good. :)
