An Interesting Puzzle...

Most of the sinks in England have two faucets, one for hot and one for cold. So, just tell me...what are you supposed to do when you want warm water? :) "...the hot and cold water don't come out of the same faucet,
so when your washing your hands, you either freeze them or burn them.
Mom says your supposed to put the plug in the sink
and mix the water in the basin. But that's a lot of trouble."

The Perfect End to a Perfect Day...

Lesa and Debbie brought this cozy "comfort quilt" they made for Chris. I think he likes it. :)

Kalea writes a special song for every person she meets. Here she's serenading Lesa... ...who is upstairs. Ben couldn't take it anymore so he closed the doors and curtains. Did that stop Kalea?
Of course not! She just came inside!
She made us all laugh quite a bit on this trip. :)
So, after a day of seeing the coast, shopping, and laughing hysterically, I guess we didn't really rest much. ;) But it was a wonderful day.

Shopping in Truro

Ian took some of us girls shoping in Truro while the boys and the rest of the girls stayed at the barn and watched rugby. (which I am now a converted fan of)

Thought this was interesting: T. K. Max?
Lesa, our new friend Amy, and Ian buying sweets. :)
Truro Cathedral:
"Ello mum!"
Truro is such a lovely town. :)

Hanging out at the Barn...

Chris, Kalea, and Ben: Chris Parker:
I got rather spoiled with all the awesome worship music. I rather miss it.

The English Coast

The day after our arrival in England we rested to recover from the long trip. The Parker's took us to the beautiful coast! We parked and walked this long trail to get to it. The scenery was breathtaking... Brianna looking at all the beautiful shells...
Lovely Layla:

Ben:
I do believe that's a castle in the distance...:)
It was such an awesome day:)

Oasis Cornwall

Before I share pictures, I thought I ought to tell you a bit about Oasis Cornwall, the church we went to work alongside in the UK. You can check out their web site here.
Oasis was started by a family of eight in June 2007. Their goal is to reach out to people, (mainly a younger generation although all ages are welcomed and encoureged to come) and give them a more positive message then what the world is telling them. I'm really excited to see what God does through this church and the people He's bringing in! You can read more about what's going on and their mission on their web site, so check it out!

Arrival...

After over 24 hours of travel our team was so excited to get to Cornwall, England! It's so beautiful there! We were greeted by the Parker family with a delicious meal and of course, a pot of tea. :)

Hanging out at the beautiful apartment in Mylor Harbor:
We girls were super thrilled with the enormous bathtub!
Surprisingly, after such a long journey and as tired as we were, none of us went to bed early. Maybe we were just a tad excited. ;)
