Vanity Fair Photo Shoot
I'm so in love with this photo shoot...If I were getting married this year, I'd do something like these for engagement photos. I love love love them. I love how much fun everybody is having in them.
Definately need a rope swing:

A good sense of humor and some silliness:
Lovely Lighting:
And a group of the very bestest friends (wedding party):
It would be cool to combine a bunch of photos into a collage on a post card for "save the dates" or something. I love the idea of including the wedding party in the early photo shoots.

So yeah...I'm loving that idea. It's now in my "wedding planner" book. :)

Organizing: Bedroom
Okay...so I know I'm supposed to be working on my sewing room...but I decided I wanted to do my bedroom first since it was in need of a change and some de-cluttering. :) I forgot to take before pictures but it was basically the same as in THIS POST.
I love love love this arrangement. Somehow it feels like everything belongs where it's at which is a good feeling!

I lightened up the top of my wardrobe with my plants, my "lamp post" and some classics:
My scarfs, hats, and wellies are all part of decorating...right? ;)

Sometimes I like to ramble...
So...I've totally gotten sucked into reading the Twilight series. (thanks to Tessa and Ella for sending the first two on the bus home with me last week, you girls are mean but I love you ;) This distraction has made me a pitiful blogger. I've reached the point today...after 1, 300 pages in 8 days...of wishing it were over. Not because I want it to end or I'm not enjoying it. but because I can't seem to get much else done. It's wretched. Yet wonderful. But I only have a few hundred more pages and I'll be done. Then I can be a really good blogger. Then I can have a real life again. Then I can not blog about how obsessive I am. That will be good.
*Deep Breath*....moving on...
So....about a month ago I said I was starting to organize my sewing room...and I still am. (How slow am I!?) But I'm really going to try to kick in gear now and get it presentable so I can show you pictures. That's my motivation because the idea of a clean sewing space doesn't seem to be helping me get it done. But it definitely does need to be done. Then I am going to make some clothes for me. :) Hopefully... ;) Not to mention my room could use a good De-clutter.
Anyway...it's probably far to late for me to be aimlessly writing all this. But sometimes I just like to ramble on about things that probably no one else cares about. So there it is. :)
Now I'm off to read a chapter...or two...or five...;) and then sleep.

Seaside
It's been 10 month since I have seen the sea...and even longer since I've seen the west coast.
Seagulls here aren't as fiendish as those evil Cornish birds were. :) You can read about my tragic experience last year with seagulls HERE.
But these lil birds are quite chummy. :) I like them.
First Summer Expedition
I just got back from an amazing visit to see my dearie girl who's in summer classes...we had a lot of fun!
We took a picnic to the park one day and Tessa and I played Frisbee while Ella studied.
Ella loves purple fire hydrants. :)
I love railroad tracks:

Business
I splurged and bought some fabric to make bags for my Etsy shop and came home and washed them and hung it out to dry. Then spent the rest of the evening crying while watching '50 First Dates' (can anyone else keep a dry eye in that film or am I just emotional?) and cutting out the bags. Hopefully I will sew them together tomorrow and have them in my shop soon!
I've gotten a little ways on my sewing room organizing but not enough to post about yet. I will soon though! (hopefully!) ;)
